Street and General Fund Dues
Grand Lake Towne's operating budget is funded primarily by annual residential assessments. The Towne does receive some Mayes County tax dollars. However, those funds are not sufficient to maintain all of our expenditures.
The annual assessments are divided into the Street account for maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our roads and the General fund account which takes care of operating cost such as maintenance of our town storm shelter, general business expenses, general street light operations, and limited operational expense to maintain common infrastructure.
